The infamous ransomware operators, #Maze, have struck again, and this time, it appears they are looking for a bigger paycheque by targeting household brands such as “Chubb”.
The group disclosed yesterday, which Cyble instantly tweeted, that the group is claiming to have access to Chubb’s network. While Chubb hasn’t confirmed any such breach at the time of writing this — given, the reputation of this group, certain systems of Chubb may likely have been compromised, and some data may have been exposed to the operators.
The disclosure was reported by the CEO of Cyble, Beenu Arora, which was later picked by other outlets.

Side note: Due to the disclosures of previous sensitive data breach disclosures, Cyble’s twitter account was suspended for 24 hours and later restored after we appealed. It’s interesting to note, that when Beenu Arora, CEO of Cyble, tweeted about it, the tweet was also deleted by Twitter for some strange reason.
Cyble team is continuously researching for the leaked data and will publish the sensitivity of the breach soon.
In the last 24 hours, Maze operators have also leaked data for 2 large organizations, namely DMC — one the leading providers of embroidery and needlecraft, sand Advanced Enterpise Technology Inc — a consultative technology company that develops innovative solutions to simplify insurance exposure management and cost allocation operations.
