Maze Ransomware Operators Targeted Bouygues Company, a Telecom/Media Services and Construction Business Giant

The operators have been incredibly busy in the last few weeks, and have targeted large organisations recently.

On this instance, it appears that the operators gained access to Bouygues Company, and have shared a press release about the breach.

Bouygues is an industrial group headquartered in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, France. Bouygues is listed on the Euronext Paris exchange and is a blue-chip in the CAC 40 stock market index.

In 2019, the company reported a revenue of $41.9 Bn and a net income of over $1.5 Bn. The company has over 129,275 employees.

The group allegedly has gained access to over 200GB of data compromising of sensitive information. While the group hasn’t leaked the files as such at this stage, they did share the kind of information they have gained access to.
