Sodinobiki Ransomware Hacked Ascent Network, a Credit Score Repair Agency

The notorious ransomware operators have breached Ascent Network, a California-based credit repair agency.

The group at this stage hasn’t leaked their files, but based on the information and screenshot they shared, it is likely they have gained access to financial records of them and their customers. Based on the information shared, it appears they have got access to Ascent Network’s customers’ sensitive records, including their PII, credit card information, social security number, their credit score etc.

At the time of writing this advisory, Cyble researchers confirmed that the data hadn’t been leaked to the public just yet.

This notorious ransomware group has been targeting medium to large corporates and leaking their information, such as Atlas CarsNEDAJN BankGaiedi.comBrooks International and many others.
